Lying on my back

Watching the Milky Way's track

In a forest thick and vast

I have come to learn the past

Trapped in the uncertain future

Of nature and nurture

My destiny as stars of light

Sometimes dim sometimes bright

Perplexed by the glory and mystery

Of the universe and it's history

As my soul melts in awe

As my body feels so raw

I reflect with insight so poor

lost in the land of the unsure

Oh, have mercy, give me some closure

Oh, give me some strength and potent composure

The sky sleeping on a cloud pillow,
The stars hidden in some black hole,
Gloomy dark and cold,
I'm sitting under that rusty bridge,
Where shadows go to sleep,
And souls go to cry,
Where the sound of deep waters,
Collide with the bridge tower and rock,
Where the sea salt eats at your cloths,
Where its smell tastes as your tears,
All alone riding the choppy waves,
Of a dark life journey,
But suddenly a crack it the clouds,
A yellow dim light winks with hope,
The moon shines through a glimpse of change,
Sleep tight my human friend,
Tomorrow I'll be there for you at sun down.
